Alex and Jansen

Jansen and Alex’s wedding was without a doubt one of the nicest I’ve photographed. I was really excited for their big day as I knew the venue, Segerstrom Center of the Arts, would offer up some unique photographic opportunities. I arrived at the brides house in Newport Beach at around noon as the bridesmaids were getting their hair done. After hanging out for a couple hours, we moved to the Westin which was just a couple minute walk from their venue. The bride put on her beautiful dress and added the final touches before we departed to do some family photographs at Segerstrom. Shortly after, the ceremony began and everything was perfect. The bridal party entered by coming down a beautiful curving staircase and there were so many amazing angles so I ran around like crazy getting beautiful photographs. It was a bit emotional after the ceremony as the parents and friends hugged the newlyweds. Soon day turned to night and we did some fun portraits outside the arts center and enjoyed lively reception late into the night. Stay tuned for a short film I am putting together as well! Here are some of my favorite photographs:

Alysha and William

I had a lot of fun at this nice, laid back Inland Empire wedding a couple weeks ago! I dropped off my second photographer Jordan Burke with the groom and proceeded to the venue, Edwards Mansion in Redlands, California. The wedding was on a hot summer afternoon but a light breeze and shady outdoor reception made it perfect. I love outdoor venues that have a lot of trees to help create nice backdrops for my photographs. After the ceremony, everyone went to a residence in Fontana for a nice backyard reception with amazing home style food! After everyone danced for a few hours, the reception wrapped up and I headed straight for Fresno where I would stay the night in preparation for a wedding the next day in Yosemite National Park.

Ashley & Jim {Married}

Last week I photographed this fun wedding in Corona, CA at a beautiful, modern golf-course clubhouse. The bride is from New York and the groom met her out there and tied the knot here in California. The day started off nice and mellow as she and her bridesmaids shared some laughs and got ready at hotel. The ceremony went perfectly and the reception was awesome! There was even a live mariachi band blasting some sweet tunes. Here are the photographs that I loved the most:

I love back-lit shots like this:

First time i’ve seen a airbrush machine in action! Pretty sweet.

Bride sitting in the back of a Rolls Royce Phantom!

Future of photography?? Hope not. I see this at every wedding now…

My favorite shot of the year so far! Im addicted to dark tunnels!
