I photographed this family down in San Juan Capistrano around the train station. I got to work with some nice soft, hazy light and we stopped by a few different locations getting some formal photographs as well as a lot of fun candids! Here are a few of my favorites from today:
Jason and Candice had one of the most beautiful weddings that I have ever photographed. After the adventurous 6 hour engagement session one month ago, I knew this wedding was going to be incredibly fun! I photographed the ceremony and reception at the beautiful Villa Sancti Di Bella Vista in Malibu, California. The massive house and beautiful surroundings allowed for a great backdrop to the Great Gatsby themed wedding. Jason and Candice were perfectly at ease on the big day and I wish them a great marriage. Here are a few of my favorite photographs:
Brandon and Lisa had a beautiful wedding in Fontana, California on a sunny and hot summer day. The love they have for each other really came through in the photographs and I had so much fun shooting their special day. We did a photo session at Victoria Arbor Park and they had their reception at a community center in the Rancho Cucamonga Central Park. The mid day lighting was a bit challenging to photograph but getting in close and using as much shadow as possible really helped get some great shots. Here are some of my favorites from the day:
Joshua and Daniela had a small wedding reception at a house in Riverside, California. They initially had a wedding in North Carolina, where they met, but wanted to have a reception back in California where they will be living. It was fun photographing such a small intimate backyard reception! I was photographing them in the front yard and all of a sudden the sprinklers turned on! We kept shooting for a few minutes and my flash combined with the water made for some incredible light!
Joshua and Daniela are from the Inland Empire but the decided to meet me in Laguna Beach for their engagement session. Even though the sun was out, the air was crisp and cold…especially after sunset. We didnt have a lot of time so we ran around the beach in front of the Montage hotel and got some shots down on and IN the water! Here are some photographs that I really liked:
